Dr. Lars Vargö
Lars Vargö is a former Swedish Ambassador to Japan (2011-14) and South Korea (2006-11). He is Chairman of the Swedish Haiku Society, a fellow at the Institute of Security & Development Policy (ISDP), and the founder of the Tokyo International Literary Society. He is an author of numerous Japan related books and papers, an active blogger, and has also translated several works of fiction and poetry into Swedish.
